Snow Fro had to get stitches in his feet after Friday's match, in case you didn't know.

So do we go with Dreads or Edu as the defensive mid?

Disappointing. I get worried about his lack of discipline sometimes but he's a good player.

Damn big hit right there especially with Williams not being able to play.

I know this board hates Edu, but I think he is miles ahead of Beckerman.

Jones supposedly had stitches in place during half time. Edu was on the squad when we beat Mexico in Azteca.

Maybe this will let Beckerman play the defensive role Bradley was in and Bradley can move forward some more

I don't think Beckerman is quick enough against most of the Central American sides. Ends up late a lot and some stupid fouls at times.
On the other hand, Edu has a knack for a horrid pass at least once a game that ends up as a counter attack opportunity.
I guess I'd rather go with Edu if I had to choose.

Before the jones injury (that I thought he'd be able to play through lol) I thought Edu would start again at CB. Still wouldn't be that surprised if he does which would put both of them on the field. They played well enough, (to win at least) the first time. Edu hopefully just boot and cover I don't want him getting cute at the back, Cameron is gonna have to bring a higher level of play than the last few outings. I trust the dread pirate to do his job and nothing more or less. I know the back line is skeptical, but there is something to be said for holding the shutout in horrid conditions. Our attack looked pretty good v CR so I don't really want to tamper with that, but I have a feeling that was also due to JJ's improved play going forward. Beckerman is basically a pure DM, none of his attributes really lend themself to him being a box to box like JJ is capable of on his better days.
I'm not all that familiar with SK, but isn't his normal position in the middle of the park? Thenry seems to know a decent bit about him, so how do you think him and Bradley paired at CDM would work out? I know Bradley has ability to anchor or attack, I'm under the impression SK is more attack minded so maybe a staggered CM with Bradley back a little bit and SK more central, would work? I'm not sure, but that sounds fun at least.
Obligatory Brek Shea sub in the 65th.
Jozy worked really hard last game, I think he'll be able to get his goal Tuesday.
Zusi's game is not suited for snowy conditions, so naturally EJ looked better, but not sure if I want him out there for 70 vs Mexico. This whole thing would be easier to solve if half of our recent caps weren't injured.
If run DMB puts in another shift like Friday, do you guys think he's back in the mix for at least the rest of the calendar year? Him, Dolo, Timmy, FJ, Gatt and Brekken provide ample width options plus the enigmatic Landon D.
For some summer friendlies with possibility of WCQ I think it'd be fun to see a variation of old bob empty bucket, looking something like a 4-4-1-1 with Dempsey playing right under Jozy, but not really CAM.
Timmy safe hands
Dolo-----Geoff-----Omar-------DMB
Chandler----Mikey--JJ---------FJ
------------------deuce---------------
----------------------Jozy--------------
Another one for fun (4-3-3 attack)
------------/------Howard---------------
Dolo/timbo---GC---OG----FJ/DMB

Cakes/Timbo---Jozy-------herc/FJ
