This was Grande Isle this morning. I didn't see many boats going out...but visibility was nil.

The wind was brutal all weekend. Tried to at least fish from the canoe, but the wind was just too much.

I do know that CG were posting signs in most stores down there reiterating that snapper are out of season.

I couldn't see the other side of my platform this morning. No boats all weekend.

I'm not sure where he went out of, Bc he went with someone instead of taking his own boat, he didn't mention anything about law enforcement

Head west young man. Talked to someone the other night and he told me he was catching snapper in 39' of water.

Yes the rare breed of red mangrove snapper. They look very similar to the red snapper. The only way to tell the difference between the two spieces is by milking the males.

Any decent size to them? I know we've started seeing more and more reds stealing our bait at our old mangrove spots the last few years.
