because he ran LeMichael James down unblocked with a head of steam? I dont remember him doing much else in that game. People are skewing his stats in here as if he only played a major role in 15 games when he was in on at least all passing downs for basically 3 full seasons and usually only produced when the offense tried some fancy play to the opposite side of the field and their scheme left the backside DE unblocked (Oregon, Auburn 2011). he showed he had zero heart this year like most of the draft eligible juniors at LSU to top off his lack of pass rushing moves.
He is fast as hell for someone that tall but he is a huge project for #15 and will not be much help until after Drew Brees is too old to be any good (if ever).

Stats are an issue. His talent is why he is going top 10 and because he played undersized and/or out of position at LSU.

I don't blame them. Miles sabotaged them in their biggest game. I've never seen anything like it in sports.

I'm an LSU fan, but the only guy eligible this year I'd be ok with them drafting is chris Faulk

yeah i would love for mathieu even knowing the huge risk of him staying in NOLA with his loser friends bringing him down. Just not a fan of Mingo, especially at 15 to restore a crap defense.

as long as the Falcons don't draft Mathieu and the Saints don't draft Teo, i can live with most anything else.
