DHS questioned over decision to let Saudi passengers skip normal passport contro

quote:

The program allows travelers who have undergone a thorough vetting process -- fingerprinting, background checks, interviews with customs agents, etc.-- to attain a low-risk status that allows them to skip the line at customs and complete their entry process at an automatic kiosk.

This makes no sense to me. I am a "low risk" traveler but I still have to wait in line to have my balls fondled by some guy with a GED. So why does some foreigner get to by-pass standard procedures for entry to my country.

We live in a Bizzaro world where black is white and up is down. The things done and decisions made by people in charge make no logical sense unless their goal is our ultimate demise. And maybe that is their goal?

Have you applied for the Global Entry program (or whatever it's called)? I work overseas and have been advised to join it as it lets you just bypass the passport control

Revelator, isn't this exactly what the word says?

I find it incredibly fascinating times in which we live.

Yes Meauxjeaux it does. There are a few verses that say evil will be called good and darkness light. Back in the days when," the late great planet earth" book came out and things of that nature, I thought to myself that the end was still a long way off. Now, with the things that I am witnessing, I can't be so sure anymore.

I am actually comparing apples to oranges. When I say I am a "low risk" traveler I am referring to thousands and thousands of Americans who fly everyday, who are normal citizens not terrorists. Yet we are treated like terrorist with pat downs and bag searches. The government wants to make it easier for people from other countries to get into our country than they make it for American citizens to fly from 1 city to another.

This just bypasses passport control not the usual TSA security checks. Passport control is in the domain of Customs and Border Protection.
