I'd have it in the boat with you regardless, but I have seen WLF out there in occasion.

My father in law caught over 75 bass on Caddo in two days last week. Good ones.

Holy Shite major fail at Bickham. Wind was outrageous, and blowing straight at the launch.

I made it out about 30 yards, tried to turn and whip out my double blade paddle, got beyond soaking wet.

Seat is too high, even if it wasn't windy it would still be a bitch to paddle with the seat at that height.

It was bad dude, I am going to put some 7" seat bases in there and hope it works better. The only people around were some people my age flying kites on Zebco 33s, so I wasn't worried about anyone laughing at me.

The wind was fuggin stupid today, I still think the seats are too high, but I couldnt even get a legitimate feel for anything so I really dont know, besides getting soaked from having to paddle at such an angle. Seriously though we need to get out soon and catch some suite.

The wind was nuts this morning. We were at ball practice this morning at 9 and it was 20mph+ I'm ready to when you are. If the two man is too much for you to paddle by yourself I've got an extra one man.

He normally launches in LA but with the boat he's got there's no telling where he goes. Whole lake is available to him quick. He's been fishing it for many, many years though so there's really no telling.

You ever float Bodcau? Best time is in the summer. It was usually flooded in winter but you can do some nice drift fishing along the way

All the banks are very shallow out about 15-20 feet. I learned this is from the heavy equipment used to dredge. You can still see track makes in the dirt. The dam is right up front and the water is deep there.

When you first come into the park the is a trail that goes down to a wooded point. This would he optimal place to launch because its at the point of the cove.

We didn't put boats in water due to time constraints but the water is clear.

We caught good size perch right off the bank in crickets.

I will def. be going back although its about an hour ride up there. Sorry I didn't take more pics

Bump:

If any NWLA guys want to go, I'm headed up next Saturday to fish the dam and paddle for some bass. Going to try and get up there about 7:30-8
