Y'all just don't bring it to my new honey hole

Lived near it as a kid. It was drained for a while but it's back looking nice now. It'd be worth checking out.

Ivan Lake
I've never heard of it. Only lakes I know around Benton are Cypress and Black Bayou.
Where is Ivan?

Oh yeah, I thought that was called Duck Lake or something like that. Is it part of Bodcau?
Eta: I see it now. Not what I was thinking of...
That's closer to Sarepta...

Well it is not in Benton. East of Rocky Mount, Hwy 160

It has to be. I knew nothing about it but found it scanning google maps and posted here. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it out there today, but still shooting for tomorrow.

All I ever see out there is old black guys fishing...

Bickham-Dickson park off 70th street with the oxbow lakes is full of pervs. It is so bad, there is usually a CPSO deputy parked towards the back of the park

You ain't lying...
A few years ago they did a prostitution sting out there and I was amazed there were pro's hanging around out there until my buddy said, "I don't think you understand... it's dudes, looking for other dudes."
Now every time I go out there I can't help but notice a bunch of single men sitting in their parked trucks waiting to be approached.

I'm out there quite a bit, maybe I just don't pay attention to other people that much.

Tease...

I'm not scared of them and don't pay attention to them. Now if they start launching boats and following me around I might get worried

This is how bad the problem is. In one day of doing the sting they made 24 arrests. It was front page of the Inquisitor complete with the mugshots.
It slowed it down for a while, but it appears it is back to business as usual.

It has been dubbed "Pickle Park", I just loaded my pirogue about to head out there soon. I will have my wife with me so hopefully I wont draw any bullshite attention. It makes me sick to see old bastards sitting in cars out there knowing what they are up to. Ive got a 155 lb arsewhoopin if anything comes up

I got my yak loaded up, but my wife's friend parked right behind me and they left for a while :(

What are the rules on PFD? Do I just have to have one with me, or on at all times?
