Staying off of westheimer (sp?), what are your recommendations? Thanks!

Go check out Underbelly for us! I've read so many great things about this restaurant. They serve lunch and dinner.

I liked Oxheart a lot more than Underbelly.

If you like sushi you have to try Uchi. It is incredible. Steak, I would go Vic and Anthony's, pappas, Brennan's or brenner's on the bayou. Italian - da Marco, sorrento. Good American, fusion type places - mockingbird bistro, haven, triniti. Mexican fine dining - Hugo's.

There are so many awesome restaurants here. It shouldn't be hard to find a good one.

I would go to Underbelly just to go to Hay Merchant.

Well...that's what I would do. Eat just enough to keep the beer flowing. That place has a magical beer selection....

there are really too many good restaurants in the city of Houston to even name. You'd have to narrow it down to a cuisine. Local Foods is the best place to get a sandwich. Duck confit with cranberry ftw
