Not even gonna give it a try unless reviews are "greatest game ever"-esque. And I mean user reviews. The gaming news sites will give it a 10/10 just for being Mass Effect.

Wait, are you one of those people that thought ME3's ending was bad?

Common man, it was a great ending, and a great wrap up to an amazing series!

I didn't have an issue with the extended ending.

Surprised Dragon Age isn't on that list for BioWare. EA is personally responsible for the abortion that was DA2.

I will only use it when I actually post the name of the game-that-must-not-be-named.

i bet im one of the few people that put my money where my mouth was re: ME3.
i didnt buy it at launch because i was really busy and i knew i wouldnt have time to play it. within a week the outrage regarding the ending was so overwhelming that i never bought the game.

and ME2 was/is my favorite (non-sim) game. maybe second behind the total war series. but ahead of CIV if that tells you anything.

doing the same with SimCity.
alas too many people buy the games and then bitch rather than protesting via non purchase. all the studios care about is the purchase.

I've been looking at the total war games. Any suggestions on which to get?

depends on your favorite time period and weapon style.

im partial to Rome (duh) and Empire (colonization time period), but rome is quiet old now.

Rome 2 is supposed to come out later this year - thatll be a must get.

Question. Didn't everyone in the gaming community already know the only reason for SimCity being online only was the DRM, and we actually should be raging at EA/Maxis for putting out a game that clearly isn't as flexable and enjoyable as it's predecessor was?

The Mass Effect universe is one of the most awesome pieces of intellectual property in gaming, and it's a given that EA will ruin the brand.

I am more pissed off about losing that franchise than anything else.
