It was announced in January that Universal Pictures is moving forward with Jurassic Park 4 and, today, a director has been named. Safety Not Guaranteed's Colin Trevorrow will helm the franchise sequel.

And yesterday, it was rumored that they'll be filming in Louisiana.

Thats such a weird choice. Going from solely doing indie flicks to Jurassic Park 4 is nuts.

loved Safety Not Guaranteed though

Seems like they're going for a Marc Webb/Amazing Spider-Man thing.

This has potential to be a disaster.

Apparently the same guy is directing the remake of Flight of the Navigator?

Never heard of him. Still hoping that it's better than the disasters of JP 2 and JP 3.

JP 2 the book was pretty bad. Jurassic Park is the only book I have ever read twice. Rumor has it that Crichton never planned on writing The Lost World until the first movie was so successful. He was essentially forced into writing the story, and hence didn't really put his heart and soul into it.

Ian Malcom freaking dies at the end of the book, and then he is the main character of the second one. What the hell???

Oh wait, this is THAT movie? If I'm thinking of the same thing, it has been showing up on my netflix recommend list.

But she's nowhere near beautiful She's okay, but not beautiful. And she's on the Kristen Stewart level of acting.
