Also, when you carry IWB, do you find that you have to wear pants/shorts a size or two bigger?

I just took my CHL course and I am waiting for my license. Just trying to figure out how I am going to carry.

Some of both. Trying to figure out my summer carry as I got my CWP toward the end of fall. Hard to do without buying a boat load of holsters and walking hem around. Efforting to lose some weight so I can IWB in my current pants/shorts.

Depending on what gun you carry and how many spare mags you'll probably have to buy pants that are a size bigger than you usually wear if you carry IWB.

Fobus ankle holster for days that I need to tuck my shirt. My Crossbreed allows for tucking but its just too damn goofy trying to do all that.

For Concealment purposes, IWB only. I like it better than OWB now. I do have to let the belt out to accommodate the pistol. I don't wear Banana Republic-Metro-Sexual-Stretchy-Pants...so no need for larger pants.

At present, the majority of the time I carry IWB; the rest of the time I pocket carry. I've never carried OWB, but am considering getting a holster to do so. I suspect most cc start out w/ IWB then add OWB as they become more comfortable w/ cc.

The pants I wear for IWB are 1-2" larger in the waist than usual.

My favorite is my Galco High rise OWB holster, but I can't always walk around with my shirt untucked or have a jacket on. IWB favortie is crossbreed supertuck

IWB 95% of the time. If I have to tuck in my shirt I wear an ankle holster.

I used to carry OWB for years, but found the gun "printed" too much.
