Ah, then I didn't miss anything. I keep thinking that I'm missing subtle hints here and there but I guess I'm not.

You're in a bit of a rough patch of LOST, but it gets alot better in 2 or 3 episodes. One of my favorites is about to come up for you to watch.

I didn't know if it'd be 'leading him' in a certain direction, but I was gonna say earlier the first half of 3 is probably the most stagnant. Abt halfway through it gets a second wind and is great from there on out til the end.

yes, once you get to Tricia Tanaka is Dead season 3 gets much better except for one more past it (I think the tattoo one)

I was more referring to Flashes. Definitely one of the most underrated episodes of the series.

He was supposed to go on longer, but supposedly he was an absolute dick to work with on set and made ridiculous demands of the staff, and they decided that they'd had enough of that tool.

Eko apparently hated working in Hawaii somehow. I think I read somewhere that they wanted his character to become a religious contrast to Locke's island like religion and battle for the survivors beliefs but alas he was a dick and got killed off.

I've watched through "Enter 77" and I'm still enjoying every minute. It seemed to drag through a couple episodes but is picking up with the hunt for Jack.
Locke making decisions that affect everyone and not discussing it with anyone is really driving me nuts. You think he would have learned his lesson after the hatch.

Didn't you love the Hurley centric episode with the VW bus? And Flashes before your eyes (Desmond)?
You will really be in for some great episodes and the the season 3 finale is incredible. (just ignore the Expose episode--it is completely insignificant)
