Yeah the last few episodes have been fantastic. Will finish Season 2 tonight and start 3 tomorrow.

Excellent, I'm excited for you.

FInished Season 2 and got one episode into 3 last night. I thought season 2 ended really well. There were a bunch of cliff hangers which if I had to wait 5 months to watch the next episode I would be pissed. A lot happened and I'm still trying to digest it all. Even after watching it I feel like I may have missed things.
*Spoilers Below*
I have a lot of questions going through my head that I hope get answered. I think the Dharma initiative started off as a social experiment with the people in the stations not doing anything important, but the "incident" changed it all. When they started having to press the button the main people left which is why the tubes of information were just left in the open. I'm guessing the others were apart of the experiment but the people in the hatches didn't know about them and when everyone left they sort of just colonized the area and live there now.

I can't wait until you finish season three.

You got past the worst of the six finales, and IMO, the worst of the six seasons as well. Hope you enjoy the rest of the ride.

I have a test Saturday that I'll be studying for the next couple of nights so I may not watch much over the next couple of days. Saturday night though I may watch half of season 3.

Can't wait for your questions in seasons 4, 5, and 6 when your mind is getting fricked left and right.

The only negative I had for the finale was that it was somewhat anticlimactic. I expected more of a fight between the two groups. I thought it would have been better suited to end immediately after Desmond put the key in and the noise ended.

Watched a couple episodes of Season 3 over the weekend (Further Instructions and Every Man For Himself). Michael Emerson plays Ben perfectly and for someone who isn't physically intimidating he sure puts fear into people.
I'm really starting to wonder about Michael and Walt. Where are they and did they get rescued?
The spinal X-ray Jack saw was a nice twist, but I'm guessing they aren't of Ben but maybe someone else. It seems too easy and straight forward for them to be his.

It's funny, I checked this thread about 10 minutes ago and was going to bump it but I figured you must not have watched any. Thanks for the update!

Had passes to the Shell Houston Open and ended up going all day Sunday. I plan to get back to watching a lot this week.
I was confused about something. The Others are on a different island than the survivors, yet how did they get to their island from the docks if they gave Michael and Walt the boat? Same thing goes for the ones that attacked the sailboat? Am I missing another boat?

IIRC, Michael Emerson was originally cast as a guest star, but did such a good job that they put him into the main cast as Ben. He's just a really great actor.
Also, on your island/boat question...I think that is explained fairly soon, but I don't remember. May defer to someone like OML since he remembers a lot more than I do about Lost.

The Others' main base is on the Island. You saw it in the Season premiere, so yeah they have other means to cross from Hydra Island to the main one than that one boat they gave Michael. Plus the Island and Hydra Island are only about a mile apart, to where they wouldn't need a huge boat to get from one Island to the next.

I thought he had died when he put the key in.
Ok, so "their" island is not part of the main island and only consists of the holding cells and the underwater portion? The colonized portion is on the main island, correct?

Hydra Island was an outpost for DHARMA, and the Others use it as more of a holding compound. They live on the main Island typically, but this location was much more secure and escape proof than anywhere on the main Island.

That's what I figured but wasn't 100% sure. Did they explain this and I just missed it? I got the part about Jack being underwater.

Its implied since you've seen 2 of the Others main bases.
