The Miami Heat won in season 2, and the 9'ers were already in the SB just adding a few pieces.. They aren't like the eagles starting from shite

a lot of interest in him, so not bargain basement, added value in that he can play both NT & DE in the 34

not bargain basement but he could probably be had for a galette type contract or less.

We'll throw Chase Daniels money at him.

Definitely could rotate him for NT and DE.

He would be a solid guy for rotation.

3 pages until an LSU player was mentioned? I am disappointed.

Saint4Life biotches! I don't care if he's never been on our roster or not.

It's official, the Jets will be pursuing Brandon Gibson. Pursuit is serious per source.

I will be disappointed if the Saints decide to keep Smith, Vilma, and Harper. Trying to get better on defense with the same players isn't exactly the strategy I was hoping for.....

Growth? Maturity? Nah, just laziness.

KristianGaric1: Clearly #Saints targeting CB's in Free Agency, Nothing more than measuring the market at this point.

With roughly three hours to go before free agency officially opens, we’ve yet to hear about anything happening with the Saints.
But look at it this way.
The closer we get to the witching hour, the more likely it seems that the major cuts that we expect will be no more than restructures.
It seems unlikely that those in charge would wait until the last minute to make major cuts of players who have been an integral part of the Saints’ success the past five seasons or longer.
General manager Mickey Loomis and Khai Harley, one his top lieutenants, know they have to be under the cap by 3 p.m. They also know that to be able to play in the free agent market, they’ll have to know what they have in-house.
In other words, the closer we get to H-hour, the more likely it is that Jonathan Vilma and Will Smith stick around New Orleans.
