I never did like him much, he's a great player but for me all the media and non-stop Tiger talk ruined any chance of me liking him. He could miss the cut and on Sunday down the stretch the announcers would still be talking about him.

Maybe I do. I just find it much easier to root for bubba Watson or Matt kuchar than for a guy who fcked 20 strippers while having kids and lied to our faces the whole entire time. I don't see how that's wrong?

Then that's fine. It's the people who dislike Tiger because he cheated on his wife, but are fine with other athletes or coaches cheating on their spouses.

I'm not fine with it. But there is an issue of false equivalence. IE, Bob cheated no his wife once. Harry cheated on his wife 1,000 times. Therefore Bob and Harry are equally bad because they are both cheaters.
Ethics. Some people got it. Some people don't. And it's a sliding scale.

I don't think many people would argue with me when i say that Tiger is an arrogant prick or an a-hole or whatever term you prefer to use. I just don't understand why people feel the need to hate Tiger because of that. I believe he's a dick, but I actively root for him over just about every other golfer I can think of off hand. There are many athletes who are pricks and people manage to put that stuff aside and root for them. Even people who don't have a rooting interest in the teams these other athletes play for don't actively hate those guys.
And, I think the number of people who just started hating Tiger after the scandal is very small. It may have reaffirmed someone's hate of Tiger, but very few who hate Tiger now actually liked him before, IMO.
