Good luck to the Pros. Probably the worst bass fishing of my life this week. Still had a good time.

Learn how to fish a Carolina Rig if you don't know how and find points. They are probably still stacked on the deep points, roadbeds, creekbeds, ponds, and all the other shite they have down there. A good sonar is VERY helpful there.

Hollow body swimbaits are badass there too.

I'd probably try out an Alabama (umbrella) rig there wtih swimbaits deep on some structure.

We threw everything at them. Carolina and jigs were the local favorites. We threw cranks and Texas a lot as well. Tries the bama and top waters a little. Nothing worked. Fish everything on the American side. We were with a group of about 20. No one did well. This was my first trip but those guys have been there for decades and had no clue what was wrong. Just not biting.

Sometimes that just happens. Sucks, but it is what it is. Those trips make you enjoy the good trips that much more.
