Mark Laird, Fr., BA: .372 (3rd), OBP: .471 (2nd), Runs: 12 (T-1st).

Christian Ibarra, Jr., BA: .375 (2nd), RBI: 8 (4th), SLG: .525 (2nd)

Alex Bregman, Fr., BA: .346 (4th), RBI 12 (2nd), Runs: 11 (T-3rd)

Then on the bench, you have guys like Stevenson, McMullen, Chinea, Barash and Devall that all have had positive outcomes when called upon.

While I am very high on many of our position players and pitching staff, I think Ibarra is the biggest new cog of our 2013 team. The guy can hit the ball to all fields for power and average. He is no slouch defensively. With the problems we have had in years past at 3B along with the mediocre hitting at that position, I couldn't be happier with finding this kid out of JUCO.

I'm a big Ibarra fan at the plate but his defense has to improve. Love his arm strength. I'm very disappointed in Jacoby Jones. It seems as though he is still letting a bad at bat effect his next at bat and it goes on and on.

He's made a couple errors at third, but he was a shortstop coming in, so I think he will be fine.

He's gotta clean up his game defensively. He can make some great plays but he has more errors than the rest of the team combined.

Errors

Ibarra - 5
Rest of team - 4

That being said, I think all new guys are really impressive so far.

Gonna have to disagree. Hanover was serviceable last year although i think ibarra is better. Laird gives us a great defensive CF and hes a great obp guy. After sciambra got hurt last year our CF's gave us nothing offensively and were shaky at best on defense.

Note: im driving the Laird pain train. Jacobys about to get his heart broken.

Jacoby is in a big slump. He and Ross are disappointing me.

I get what you are trying to say, but in a literal context this comment makes no sense whatsoever.
