Jacoby don't care period. Dude has so much potential and his approach at the plate is terrible.

I thought hits and runs only counted BEFORE the 6th inning?

Watch your tone, bro.

His approach this year is actually much better if you actually watch the games and dont judge him off of only batting average.

Yes, but you have to remember there are many LSU fans on here who hate LSU.

LSU's prestige, tradition, climate, and facilities recruit for itself. Mainieri has done a done a great job thus far, he's had some bad luck (on a number of players) which put him in some difficult situations in 10 and 11'. The incoming class minus Justin Williams is absoutely loaded top to bottom...comparable to the 10' class.

LSU's core lineup of Bregman, Laird, Stevenson, Chinea, Barash and possibilities of Robertson, Fraley, DeHart, Zardon, and Dean will give them a deep deep lineup 2-3 years down the road.

I'm a big Ibarra fan at the plate but his defense has to improve. Love his arm strength. I'm very disappointed in Jacoby Jones. It seems as though he is still letting a bad at bat effect his next at bat and it goes on and on.

Not to contradict what the OP said because I am really high on the new guys, but Jacoby Jones started his freshman year batting .500. He hasn't been the same since. (I still say his problem is that he can't hit a breaking pitch, but that's besides the point.) Let's just stay cautiously optimistic that they will keep it up.
