Stuffed roast with garlic and seasoned outside with black pepper and Tony's. Seared in a cast iron skillet on all sides. Deglazed cast iron skillet with red wine blend and dumped liquid into crock pot. Added 1 cup of water and half of a shiner beer to crock pot and set crock pot to low. Will check in the am. What do you think? Will this roast be good?

I'd eat that baby up without even looking at it. I'm sure it'll be quite tasty.

I would throw in a couple of carrots, an onion quartered, and some mushrooms, then strain it all out in the morning and discard. Maybe some sage and Rosemary too.

^^ this ^^

Next time, use a whole beer and no water. Throw in a few bay leaves. It'll still be very good though.

I give it a solid 9...need to add some veggies, as others have stated...but I would eat it regardless. It sounds tasty.

I'd skip the beer and add beef stock and more red wine and veggies.

I do the same exact thing but do a can of cream of mushroom. No water, beer, or stock

I do potatoes, carrots, onions, & mushrooms
