Booth. Halftime you go face to face with adjustments.

booth for sure. you get an overview of the opposing defensive schemes. makes for better play calling

I'm sure they also have easier access to their data up there, too. I assume they have TVs for reviewing plays, as well.

Booth is the only answer. I don't know what you can see from field level, but I imagine it ain't much.

somewhere in between. like section 126 or something

I've sat int that section an there are plenty enough OCs, DCs, Qbs, and HCs as it is.

It's not like there isn't a ton of succesful coordinators who coach on the field.

Cam Cameron has been on the field for most of his career.

I personally think the booth is best. You simply can't see everything going on from the sideline. From the booth you can see everything, point things out, and make adjustments. As far as getting in players faces, that is the job of the position coaches, and head coach. The coordinators main role is to execute the game plan, call the offense/defense, and make adjustments as necessary.

1+.

OTOH, it will be determined by wherever the Coordinator feels most comfortable doing his job.

Position Coaches - probably sideline

depends on the coach. Bobo is on the sideline for UGA, and Richt has always been there (he used to call plays). Jimbo calls plays from the sideline.

If you have someone as an assitant who can recognize everything and that you trust I would say dc on the field for sure.

I like for the oc to be in the booth so he can see all formations on both sides. The same could go though of you have great assitants.

If he can get this offense ranked as one of the top 30 offenses in the country, he can call plays from his living room couch for all I care

Booth. You need to see the entire field. That's why you have position coaches on the field to keep the players in line.
