Because statically I’m not going to be in very many scenarios, and this thread did not dedicate the tournament to one specific scenario or to say that it applies to any and all scenarios. I’m going to face a limit amount of opposition, no more than two, at five bullets each that’s probably all I’m going to need due to time. If the zombie apocalypse happens, or I get into a situation where I have to defend myself against multiple armed persons then yeah the Hi Point isn’t going to be the gun I want. I wouldn’t even want a pistol in this situation anyway. I based my choice off of two aspects. Price and Manufactured Location.

This. That lady in Georgia hit a SINGLE intruder 6 times with a .38(?) and still didn't kill him. Good thing there wasn't 3 or 4 of them. This argument is usually used by 1911 fanatics.
I think the Nighthawk Predator may win this thing with all the 1911 lovers on this board...even though there are numerous guns in the competition I'd rather have with me in a "gun battle on the streets of America!!!!"

Believe it or not, I don't think the Nighthawk is the best 9mm in this tournament.
1911's in 9mm to me are gimmick guns. 1911's should be in .45 ACP (and occasionally 10mm).

With that situation it wouldn't have made a difference if she had 6 or 10 bullets if there are 3+ people. Some situations are a lose/lose. If 6 shots will not kill someone then it doesn't matter how many people come in because your pistol is not going to cut it.
If I'm shooting at someone then I'm going to let the pistol do its thing. Recoil is going to want the gun to move up, and I'm going to allow it to do that. I'll start at center mass and work my way up the spine. Most people who get shot at aren't going to stick around for more, but if they do then I'm willing to continue shooting. If a group comes in then IDC if you have 16..it's not enough for 4:1

FWIW, recoil doesnt want the gun to move up. Thats the way your elbows are. Rotate your elbows out and let the gun recoil straight back.
