re: Homebrewing Thread: Volume II - Whitrabbt
Anyone had any luck adding either watermelon or watermelon flavoring to a Hefe recipe? Seems like a good flavor for a summertime beer to drink by the pool. ...

New to Crabbing - Whitrabbt
I'm relatively new to South Louisiana (lived here 2 years) and some of my co-workers have me convinced to try my hand at some crabbing. I live in Lafayette and was wondering where the best places to go around there are and what kind of equipment I would need. Also any tips of tricks you guys could...

re: NOLA Food/Bar Recs needed - Whitrabbt
This past weekend I hit up Cafe Degas, Luke, and Cochon. All three were amazing meals and I would recommend them all. Cafe Degas is within walking distance of the fairgrounds and was a really nice place to sit down and relax after walking around all day at Jazzfest....

Rabbit and Duck Gumbo ideas - Whitrabbt
I've been toying with the idea of making a Rabbit and Duck Gumbo for a while now and was wondering if you guys had any tips. Meaning like should I roast both before hand and use the bones and carcasses of both to make the stock or just one of them? I also bought a pack of andouille to add a little...

I was thinking about eating breakfast at some place, definitely gonna hit up Cafe Du Monde one of the mornings, I'm not to big on it but since she has never been why not. Gonna plan on eating at JazzFest for "Lunch" and then having Dinner somewhere in the City. I just want to plan a good mix of pl...

New Orleans weekend recomendations - Whitrabbt
I need some recommendations on "can't miss" food places to take a significant other to in New Orleans. We will be there for the first weekend of JazzFest. She is from up north and has never been to New Orleans so I want to show her why NOLA is so awesome. Her birthday is also that Saturday night ...

re: Is there any hope for this knife? - Whitrabbt
None of that rust looks very deep, just soak it in CLR and hit it with some medium to fine steel wool. Absolutely no need to go grinding on it, you would probably do more harm than good if you started grinding on it....

re: Mass vs velocity? What are your thoughts? .45 superior to 9mm - Whitrabbt
Strictly from a physics stand point I would think that both a bullet with a higher mass but lower velocity and a bullet with a lower mass and higher velocity would be affected negatively at almost the same rate when having to penetrate a forearm before hitting a target. (Momentum)=(Mass)X(Acc...
