The problem with our TEs hasn't been our TEs. It has been the utilization of our TEs.

Negative. The roster has been filled with blocking TEs and the one receiving TE we had couldn't catch for shite

Dammit. If they would have moved Lavar to TE, that would have freed up Holliday to play defensive end in '09.

Nope. Wouldn't matter if we have Gronkowski or Graham. We would never use them.

Uhh Nic Jacobs could catch. Travis Dickson sure looked like he could catch the ball against Ole Miss. Bottom line is that we haven't included many passes to the TE over the last couple of seasons. Not complaining, but that is a fact.

If you don't throw the ball to the TE's they can't catch it. Plain and simple. Clement could have been a receiving TE, but was never ever used that way. It is a crying shame he was not invited to the combine. He will have to show it during Pro Day.

Tight ends are playing a more important role in today's NFL. If Clement has the talent, he can, as an undrafted free agent, be picked up by & develop his skills with a team that knows how to utilize a TE, such as New England or New Orleans, who both pay attention to LSU guys. We never saw enough to know if he can be a pro or not.
