Any good places in the area where I can sit outside and get nasty on boiled crawfish tomorrow? Uptown would be preferable, but a non tourist place around the quarter would be ok too. TIA

Hey, you can get the crawfish from Big Fisherman on Magazine right near the Breaux Mart near the Bulldog, Garden District. You will need to take them to a bar close by. Rendezvous will accomodate you. There is a dog park close by too. If weather is nice, take them to the fly by the river.

Do what Oeno Brah suggested. Getting crawfish in the FQ is not a good idea unless you going to a private boil. I'll be at RDV if the weather is nice too.

If you have a car you could take the 15 minute ride from the FQ to Harvey and go to Perino's or go to N.O. east and go to Cast Net on Haynes...Both are consistantly good...I went to both last week when I was in town...Both were good.

Lakeview Grocery has them for $2.99/lb on the weekends. Daizzy Dukes in the FQ has an all you can eat deal for $20 for parties of four or more, $28 if less than four.

My wife told me about a place she heard of in Belle Chase that has all-u-can-eat crawfish, shrimp and crabs on Thursdays. Gonna check that out this Thursday.

There are tons os places in Nola that have boiled crawfish. Most of them just aren't in areas that you would want to go though.
