Got a chance to watch this guy for the first time tonight. Went in thinking he was just an athletic guy with no real basketball skills or BBall I.Q.

DEAD WRONG.

Super athlete, with great motor and surprising pretty good handle.

Might have overtaken Otto Porter as my number 1 WANT for the Pelicans in this draft.

I like him a great deal. I just don't know if he's a 3. He's listed at 6'5" I believe.

Definitely not a 3.

2-guard all the way.

I'm thinking Tony Allen with an offensive game.

But MKG is a good comparison, too.

Yeah I see Allen.

Im not really sold on Oladipo for the Pels. I think it actually benefits us if he shoots up draft boards bc it'll mean someone else will drop.

I like Porter more, still.

he's shooting 64% from field and 52% from 3(limited shots, but still)

The improvement and confidence to take more shots from beyond the arc compared to last year is what I'm excited about with Oladipo.

That sneaky inbound bump off the State player into the dunk was great

He's had stretches of dominance as a man defender as well.

Monty would drool over that.

Yeah, Westbrook is the first player that came to mind for me as well.

Where would he play with GV, EG and AR all young guards on this team?

He's 6'4" which is three-five inches too short to play the three on the NBA level.

I'm not not drafting a prospect because of Eric Gordon and Austin Rivers

Gordon is the center of trade rumors and Rivers hasn't proven to be a rotational player yet.

He doesn't create his own shot well yet.

When you really compare the two, he's a very similar player to Mclemore.

Both about the same size. Neither are great shot creators. Both are freak athletes. Both are knock down shooters.

I think most people just trust Mclemore's shooting numbers more the Olidipo's right now though.
