Question about clips

Someone gave me two clips for my glock 19. the person that gave them to me said they have been sitting in their night stand for about 2.5 years not being used, but they were fully loaded. My queston is will sitting there for two or so years loaded mess up the springs in the clips, ultimately leading to a loading problem?

There are only a hand full of things that you will get your arse torn up about on the OB.
1 - using the dreaded term "clip"
2 - mentioning the word "judge"
3 - digging a pond the size of a toilet bowl
4 - Silencer/ suppressor
Other than that...it's fairly peaceful around here.
