| Casual "The Office" fan here. What's the deal with Jim in Philadelphia? (Posted on 2/17/13 at 5:49 pm)
I've watched the last two episodes after not really watching in this year and just summer reruns last year. Is he still with DM in Scranton, too? Pam seems none to thrilled with Jim,either. I know this is the show's Last Hurrah, but are setting Jim and Pam up for a split?

Jim went into business in Philly with some friends of his. He didn't tell Pam until after he did it. He wants her to move there, but she doesn't want to. Jim is enjoying living it up in Philly while Pam deals with the kids. That's the basic gist of it.

He's with DM part time now and has an apartment he shares with Daryl in Phil. There has been quite a bit of tension bw Jim and Pam, but I'm not sure where the writers are headed. I'm betting they get close to breaking up, and then the documentary premiers and they see how they fell in love and fall back in love with each other.

If Jim and Pam end up splitting, that would be horrible. Really horrible.

It would make sense though. The show has grown stale like their relationship ever since they got married. And when their relationship ends, the show will.

It's gonna go all. "Gift of the magi" Pam is secretly gonna move their home and children to Philly while Jim secretly quits his job and moves back to Scranton.

No way they break up. I seem to be in the minority, but I enjoy them finally having some sort of conflict that doesn't involve Jim not wanting to dress up as Popeye for Halloween.

This is actually a pretty good idea of what I expect to happen.
