but we mostly should be looking at a youth revival here

Dammit we don't have time for that, drew only has a few more years left. This season is one of the best shots we'll have, let's win now

CW was playing FS wasn't he? Harper will benefit more from this new D anyways, give him a restructured contract and play him out 1 more year!

LMAO, you did. It was the same situation. We are doomed to having to draft a semi competent defense for the next few years. Although we did save $4 million today with Lofton's restructure.

I really don't understand how these restructures work, with signing bonuses relieving cap space. I think this stuff is made to be way more complicated than it should be.

All those years of neglecting to address the defense are coming back to haunt. Better fix it in a hurry now.

Were those the years we drafted Cam Jordan, PRob, Malcolm Jenkins, Nicks, Wilson, Ellis and signed Vilma, Lofton and Sharper and hired Gregg Williams, Spags and Rob Ryan and when we switched defensive schemes? Those years?

It's not a failure to address, it's been scheme, talent and development.

I don't know why people here think we need to do anything with our safety situation.

I know a lot of people don't like Harper, but he will fit perfectly in RR's defense. Run stopper and blitzer are two of Harper's best attributes.

Jenkins is better than what people give him credit for.

agree fully, just think he isn't worth $15million worth of cap space the next two years

I agree but Woodson could be the second coming of Darren Sharper.

No, no he couldn't.
He is done.
