had an opportunity to play in the BCS Championship Game. With the appearance at the end of the 2011 season, that made it 12 consecutive recruiting classes.

You would think that would be a powerful recruiting tool/mantra: "Come to LSU, and recent history has shown you are pretty much guaranteed to play for a national championship at some point in your career."

Powerful stuff...

I'll just get it out of the way. Bama's pitch is more powerful

I thought about posting something like this but decided against it since I didn't want everyone to call me bamasessed.

Im sure the coaches use things like this or the fact an Lsu player won 11 straight super bowls and played in 12 straight.

Dont think any program can touch that.

It was cool that, for about a decade, we were able to say that every player who exhausted their eligibility walked away with a BCS Championship ring.

Pretty sure until this year Nebraska had like 20 straight years with a player in the super bowl

Oh so sorry. Actually did a search and they do have longest streak. Both players and coaches. I think this year actually made it 20. shite our fans would be shitting bricks if we had nebraskas record over the last decade.

And notice whose name appears in the top 2 on virtually all of our recruits' list. And what I really hate, seems like in the top 2 of all our Louisiana recruits' list as well. We need to get high on the Bama Alabama recruits' list to return the favor. Make them sqirm about their top recruits in Alabama choosing LSU over Bama.

The only way this will change is LSU must start kicking Bama's butt whenever the opportunity arises. We can't give away wins like this year.
