The instructions on my bag say to boil my 2 1/2 pound lobster for 20-22 min. Doesn't say anything about soaking. I am accustomed to my crustaceans soaking for a little while after the fire is off.

What are some boiling tips? Anyone season their water like you would to boil crawfish?

You'll probably be fine just boiling it for 15 minutes. Feel free to add a little liquid boil. Can't hurt. Sometimes I season my lobster water, sometime I don't.

Put a little vanilla extract in your clarified butter for something a little different.

I would suggest not boiling it and use something like Keller's method provided in Pbeards link. Steep, then poach in butter, you'll get tender meat and it does a better job of preserving lobster's sweet delicate flavor. Boiling will likely result in rubbery texture.

Don't

It is not a crawfish, and not best to boil them, either steam them , or take the meat out of the tail and grill them...no crab boil just lightly season and dip in butter

Boiled them several times. Used some liquid boil in the water. Not so much that it overpowers the flavor but adds just a little spice. Not a big fan of bland seafood. Dont boil for too long. About 8 minutes.

After you "boil" it for 22 minutes, cut into 4 equal pieces and bait your trot line with it. That's about all it will be good for.
