| Sherlock - Has there been a more perfect show created? (Posted on 2/14/13 at 12:07 pm)
I have watched all 6 episodes on Netflix 4 times. I have yet to find a flaw. The music is great, the acting is great, the storylines are great. I guess call me an official fanboy. It sucks we have to wait until late 2013/early 2014 in America for the new season.

Freeman is ideal for a modern day Watson. His dry delivery is perfect. Cumberpatch is going to be an Academy Award nominated actor in the near future. I think Star Trek will be a huge jumping off point for his casting in the US. I can totally see why this dynamic was recreated in the US via Elementary. I have been watching them on my iPad without problem but when I tried to watch them on the Xbox it was all jumpy. Anyone have anything similar happen?

Amazing show, but the Hounds of Baskerville episode was far from flawless.

I love this show, both Cumberbatch and Freeman are perfect for their characters.

I LOVE the show, but honestly it strains credibility when Holmes infiltrates a terrorist cell to stop the beheading of irene Adler. I mean, come on. Seriously? The Conan-Doyle stories managed to stay very believable while still making holmes out to be almost super-human. This show, not so much.

I love this show. My 10 year old loves this show. We have both watched every episode multiple times. I think both middle episodes are weak.

I love the one with Irene Adler. I'd like to see her again. FWIW - I enjoyed the actress that played Adler when she was on the last season of Mi-5 (Spooks).

Went out and bought both seasons. To answer your question probably not.

agreed, plus you're talking about dozens of hours of greatness vs ~9 for Sherlock so far.

Great show, but jury still out pending some future developments

That was just absurd and one of the main reasons I have trouble taking this show seriously. That was the first episode that I watched, and it was ridiculous

The second episode of both seasons are by far the weakest of the six. I found The Hounds of Baskerville to be better than The Blind Banker however. I would rate them like this: A Case in Pink - 9/10 The Blind Banker - 7.5/10 The Great Game - 9/10 A Scandal in Belgravia - 9.5/10 The Hounds of Baskerville - 8.5/10 The Reichenbach Fall - 10/10 Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman have amazing chemistry. I really like Mark Gatiss as Mycroft Holmes and I also like the character of Molly Hooper, which was created specifically for the show. Andrew Scott as Jim Moriarty took a while for me to warm up to, but his performance in The Reichenbach Fall more than made up for his somewhat off-putting introduction at the end of The Great Game. My favorite scene of the show so far is when Sherlock finally figures out Irene Adler's password: LINK

I've watched the first 3 "episodes". I loved them all up to the final scene in episode 3. The bad guy was just weak as shite and frankly, just annoying.

Moriarty? Probably the greatest portrayal of Moriarty I can think of. The actor actually added a dimension to Moriarty that I had never seen before, plus he basically puppeteered everything. Just don't see how he was weak.

She was the main female field operative Erin Watts. The little bit of background on her they showed was that she had a daughter her mom helped her take care of. She was the one running the show while Harry was under investigation.
