From the LSU Baseball Facebook Page:

quote:

The Alex Box Stadium concessions stands will feature several new items in 2013, beginning with Friday night’s season opener versus Maryland. The items are available at the Bayou Café located at each concessions stand throughout the stadium. Fans can look forward to ordering the following selections on the Alex Box menu:

roasted Cajun corn on the cob
stuffed crawfish pie
stuffed meat pie
stuffed Asiago mushroom with roasted pepper pie
stuffed seafood pistolettes with crab, shrimp and crawfish, served with a side of jambalaya
chicken and sausage jambalaya
Swamp Seeds
Lenten Special - each Friday during Lent, catfish po-boys will be on the menu
Enjoy!

Nice to see some new items will be offered but I still kinda miss the bbq nachos offered the first couple years of The New Box.

Anybody wanna take a guess at what prices they'll rape us at for these new items?

I was getting ready to post this. I'm shocked to be honest. They must read the rant!

The media used to get Fried Catfish sammiches at the Old Box every Friday back when Skip was Skipper.

I don't get why they just don't do bang up ball park food. Like mega-nachos, foot long megadogs, garlic fries, basically just start offering what all the pro parks do.

I can imagine. I would take some good ole nachos over anything on that menu prepared in a concession stand.

A few good additions. I don't understand why they can't do some good pulled pork nachos or sandwiches. Super simple to do and not much cost involved.

Yea how hard is it to have a quality chicken tender basket and for less than the price I pay for my ticket to the game. I am looking forward to a catfish poboy tomorrow night though

For Christ sake. If u don't like the prices and the chicken tender quality then go to McDonald's before u come like all the other broke docks do. Quit bitching man! BTW if u have season tickets and cryin about everything i will b glad to take em.
