Didn't last season end with Ben and Sammy getting in the wreck with the pimp? I know some time has passed in the offseason but isnt that how it ended?

That was a good episode to start the season.
I have no idea what state of mind Ben is in right now.
I agree with you. I hate the Lydia storyline. I definitely think that Sammy's kid isn't his. I think Sammy is tempted to get the paternity test done after all and find out the results through a trusted third party.
I like the boot that Cooper has with him. I have no idea if he is gonna play bad cop or good cop. The last scene with the mini riot was pretty cool.
On a side note, I told my dad about this show and he asked what channel this was on. When I said TNT, he was like Pfffttt, frick network TV. I swear he has a huge hatred of network TV, I don't understand it.

Man, I really didn't care for tonight's episode. Season 4's season opener was so fricking awesome, my expectations are probably too high.
I hate the Lydia storyline. Hate the gay part of Cooper's character. But I'm liking the 2 new guys. frick Lydia and her pregnancy last year. Now she has a crying baby the whole time?!?!? frickkk, some ms-13 gangbanger please off this bitch ASAP

That first episode from last year really has stuck out in my mind. It was great tv, especially for cable. Last year just went downhill as the season progressed imo. Hopefully this season progresses from tonight's lackluster opener
