I haven't gone through the entire thread but if the PP7 interception that "wasn't" hasn't been listed, it needs to be.

Who knows if it would've changed the outcome but that was an int in the pros.

Stupid refs called it an incomplete pass.

HUGE +1. Completely agree. I'll go to my grave saying we got robbed in that game.

Beat everyone on your regular schedule, win the conference and a team you already beat, on the road, gets awarded a trip to the BCS NG.

I don't care how good they were. We beat them, plain and simple. If it were any other team, it wouldn't have happened.

By far...the biggest screw job in LSU history:

OSU losing to lowly Iowa State University...2011! Eff the luck of the Irish. How 'bout the luck of the Tide! Honestly, that's the whole lynch pin in bammer getting to the BCSNC game.

Assault and battery on our secondary at the end of the Iowa Capital One Bowl game! It led to the last second "win" for Iowa in Saban's last game as the LSU HC.

2011 was a year where no team deserved to play LSU at the end and logically LSU should have been named NC after the UGA win. Thats not how the BCS works of course and there had to be another game, but logically speaking there shouldn't have been another game.

Don't forget that that game was on a Friday night too so that it could be on ESPN--which means that it happened the same day as that plane crash that killed the basketball coach.

3. Auburn 2006 - This was a bagman game from beginning to end. Pick any of several plays. This game flat out sucked

Yup LSU screwed ITSELF with HORRIBLE play calling.

The refs did LSU no favors, but LSU still wins if JaMarcus doesn't throw a pass to Buster Davis at the 5 yard line on the last play of the game.

Playcalling sucked but in fairness every time LSU made a downfield pass the refs found a way to negate it.

Finishing ninth in baseball and missing the NCAA. Told you have to make the SEC tournament. Making the tournament the next year and beating number 9 State but they get the NCAA bid because their AD heads the committee.

I will accept this, BUT 5 times inside the 50 in the 1st half and came away with NOTHING. The refs didn't STOP us from scoring. Were there some bad calls?? YES. But not enough of them to have LSU lay an egg in the 1st half.

we didn't deserve to go in 2011. yeah our rpi was good enough, but when you finish 13-17 in the conference and miss the SECT, you don't have room to cry about it. we also hadn;t won a series against any of the good teams we played since fullerton and got swept by florida, arkansas, and vandy. 2006 was horseshite though

I completely disagree here. Okie st is the one that got screwed. You are accepting the fact that BAMA was the much better team that night.

The Mulligan will always be #1 IMO. We go there, @ night, prime time, national TV, and win. They rest for 40 days while we risk injury and loss by playing a good UGA team. Defeated any point of a division or conference championship. Funniest thing about the SEC champ game- bammers had to root for us because an LSU loss would've kept them out.

Am I remembering correctly? I thought we had back to back years where in year 1 we finished ninth and didn't get a bid and we were told you had to make the SEC Tourney and all 8 teams that did got a bid. Then the next year we finished 8th and State finished ninth. We had 2-3 on State and State got a bid SEC 1–7 got bids and we were left out. Is that right or did I manufacture that?

'82 basketball vs Tennessee. LSU up by 1, :08 to go. Vols inbound ball under the far basket. Clock does not start for 2-3 seconds. Dale and the crowd goes nuts. Clock started well after Tennessee crossed halfcourt. They take a shot which missed, but the tip-in at the buzzer went in.

Remember this one well. I was there. Don Devoe hustled his team off the court and on to the team bus before the officials could make a final decision.

Dale appealed to the SEC office to have the final 8 seconds replayed at the beginning of the SEC tournament, but was shot down.

yeah that's not accurate. 2005 we got beat, at home, by Rice in the regionals. 2006 we went 1-2 in the SECT, State didn't even make the SECT, yet State made the NCAAT and we didn't, and yes their AD was on the selection committee. 2006 was complete and utter bullshite; however, it got Smoke out of town so I'm thankful for that. 2007 was Mainieri's first year and we were awful. You know the rest
