Darla, just look at it as making a contibution to lowering the prices of bugs before Easter.

I think the Catholics (and I am one) in this thread are getting a bit too sensitive

I'm giving up red meat and soda - neither is a huge sacrifice as I have each only 1 or 2 times a week, so I figured I'd double up to make it a bit tougher.

Not giving anything up but need to watch what I eat for a while after a bachelor party, Super Bowl, and Mardi Gras 3 weekends in a row.

You can't give up what you gave up already. I think you should give up making chicken salad. Let us know how that works out for you.

Zach might I recommend a challenge, giving up listening to Lucy for 40 days and nights. Go to the grocery, buy some cheese, make some pudding and pies. We can all have a good laugh when we read about which method of death you meet from the deadly wives series.

That's not the way the rule goes. It's "Give up something you really like." I love cheese.

It's getting worse. I hit 'list' on my TIVO and she's now recording more than 5 different programs on murdering your spouse.

It's "give up" not "gave up" or "continue to give up".

OK, tomorrow I'm going to eat a piece of cheese. Then I'm gonna give it up for Lent. Game, Set, Match!

Okay it is once again that I will suggest moving in with dogs. You live with a woman recording multiple shows on how to off the husband. She works as a night time nurse, she know what makes people die, the supply room allows for access to the products needed for the chore. She has an internet history of being a tad crazy. Run Forrest run.

You are defiling the spirit of the season, Zach! Stop making chicken salad. It will do you both some good in securing a place in Heaven!

There is NO WAY that stopping chicken salad = place in Heaven. However, it may be worth 10 or 20 years of Indulgences off my time in Purgatory. I'll need to consult with a priest about that. Do we have any priests up in here?

You will have to consult with the poliboard Romans in this matter.
