over more than likely. a 4.55-4.6 is still really fast for a DE or 3-4 OLB

It won't be awe inspiring. He'd be better suited for the 100 or 200. I'll still say 4.58.

uh, no. Sam is not the fastest guy in the world, but do you realize how slow a 5.1 is? 4.7-4.9 is more probable

Sam made a mistake packing on 30 lbs. last offseason. He was a noticeably different and less explosive player last season.

He put on 30 lbs because it helps his draft status as a DE not to weigh 245 pounds. He's not the speed rusher Mingo is, so he needed the extra weight (so will Mingo for that matter). And I think you're over exaggerating what he lost. His numbers were actually sightly better this year than last, and he didn't have nearly as much help in the secondary as he did in 2011.

Over, but he will be under 4.6 and faster than many linebackers.

I've seen reports that Mingo ran a sub 4.5 in HS. I'll go with the under.

half the players in the rivals.com system are listed at 4.5 or lower. crazy how only a handful of guys actually run 4.4s at the combine...

Under, I'm thinking he'll be in the high 4.4x. Only thing that is keeping him back is being tall.

Agree......the combine times are legit and strict, cannot compare reported times vs. combine times.
