Question regarding Black Ops 2 Zombies Ranking/Level Ups

I'm a pretty decent player. I like playing Survival. No matter how bad my teammates are, I consistently make it to level 15. I rack up 200+ kills and only go down once or twice. My kill/headshot ratio is like 2:1.
I'm stuck with the Skull and Blue Eyes.
What do I have to do to get the higher levels. I'd like to be paired with some decent players but it's almost impossible to level up.
Highest survival level I've been to is 18.

I think every few days you level is reset to the bones if you don't play. I was 5 tallies with skull and blue eyes. Didn't play for 4 days and I was back to just a skull with 1 tally. I don't understand it.

I'm not entirely sure how it determines your rank but
1. Not playing frequently loses tallies
2. Doing well gets you tallies
3. Need 5 tallies to move up

I'll add you today. I play Zombies regularly. I play all game modes. Really enjoying Greif right now. It's fairly quick, only last about 10 rounds so I can know a couple of games out if I don't have much time.

I haven't played Tranzit or Grief yet. I've been survival kick for about 3 weeks. My goal is to get to level 20.

No offense. 15 with two downs isn't great. I realize its survival so its different but on transit I regularly make it to 30+ before going down.
Everything to do goes towards your rank. Opening doors. Reviving. Buying perks. Headshots. Etc...

I'd say it's above average. I get stuck with some pretty crappy people and you have limited space to run/work. The last game I played, I had 11 revives and 1 down with 325 kills. I mean, that's probably the best I'm going to do with run of the mill teammmates in survival.

Where have you been? I was on all weekend and we didn't play zombies once. I need someone to play transit with me so I can build the table. It won't let me in custom games. Randoms are too stupid so I can never finish building it before the are dead or we are on round 10.

I'm on PS3...just got to level 17. Survival. Had 434 kills. 2 downs. 9 revives. 135 head shots. Problem is the frickin teammates.
One guy was just at 300...the others were like barely 80-100.
Still not level up worthy. Oh well.
