Because teasers also lower your chances of winning. You're reliant on more than one team covering.
There's some spots where it's a great thing to do. There are others where you don't want to do it.
Great tool if used properly, I just prefer going with straight bets where if I go 1-1, I lose juice or gain a little rather than being down a full unit.
