I've always loved LeBron, and I was born and raised in Ohio. I never understood why my friends hated him so much. He fulfilled his contract. The whole "decision" was a little douchey, but he seems like a good guy, and he's one of the best players ever.

I never cared that he left Cleveland. I just thought he shouldn't have made a circus out of 'the decision'.

I think most everyone has forgiven LeBron at this point. I still think that if he had been able to deliver Cleveland even one title it would be worth 2 or 3 anywhere else just because of how tortured that town is. I feel for those people and hope LeBron goes back and finishes the job.

He's definitely become more likeable since they won. He doesn't seem to have a chip on his shoulder anymore.

He hasn't changed one bit Imo.

Naive because he's not being incredibly cynical about this? If this is some sort of plot why haven't other superstars looking to rebuild their image done this? Face it. LeBron is a pretty nice guy for the most part. Whether it's this story, him tackling the half-court shot guy, or the story about him getting the team to give a group of service people pictures and autographs at an airport last season, most of the evidence supports this conclusion.

Why are you so upset? So because he's a nice guy it's a PR stunt? He's been a good guy his whole career, he hasn't changed once

I know right. Remember that time in clevland when he tackled that fan and played catch with another one. ...Or that time he wore a NY Yankees hat when the hometown boy's Indians where playing the Bronx Bombers?

I just love short term memory....Where are my keys?

You're an Arizona fan with the 49ers in your pic. Hello kettle, this is pot.

What a terrible guy he is being a Yankees fan, that would make him a bandwagoner not a bad person

so because he didn't play catch in Cleveland and no fan made a halfcourt shot in Cleveland it means he changed? He's been happy go lucky his entire career. You have a preconceived notion and nothing he can do will change that so....

Said it in the other thread, I'd like the guy if he stopped doing all this PR stuff to get people to like him (selling a brand) and just played basketball at a high level.

Everything about LeBron seems like its a calculated part of a machine.

I don't think he is sincere about anything.

And Lebron is from Ohio and is a Yankees fan. It's like the other poster said, you have a preconceived dislike for him so no matter what he does you'll always dislike him. You just mad that Dwight is a big puss on your Lakers

PR stuff and selling a brand are two different things. Besides, I'm pretty sure Lebron isn't the only pro athlete making money off of selling goods.

Cleveland fans are the only runs whose hatred is understandable to me.

Outside the decision, the guys biggest issue was he tried too hard to be liked when all he had to do was go out there and play.

Never had issue with lebron. Just really don't like Miami the city. So I pull against him usually.
