Already have 2 monitors, one at the office with my work laptop, and my old one here. I need to get a new one because it's like 5 years old and isn't as good as the display on the laptop.

Have the exact same laptop, love the ROG. Borderlands 2, Civilization 5, and Skyrim (w/ mods) are great games as well. The macho man dragon screaming "I'm gonna gitcha!" in the distance make me laugh every damn time. Company of Heroes is a great (but older) RTS game and will get you ready for the impending release of COH2.

I got the model before yours. My roommate has one almost exactly like the one you got. Great computers, pop a ssd in it and laugh at how fast it is.

You may have to turn the settings down to play FC3. The graphics look awesome on that game but I think the coding for them is junk or something. It can get laggy from time to time. Especially on the Multi Player. My frames drop so bad sometimes.

Arma 2 Combined Ops is what you need but it's $30. I would wait for it to go on sale or wait a few more weeks to see if the stand alone finally gets announced. I think they are close. You also need DayZ commander which is free.
Seems like you have quite a few games to play in the mean time anyway.
