I found this nugget... At least things are getting better
quote:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of Americans filing new claims for jobless benefits fell last week and a trend reading hit a near five-year low, pointing to ongoing healing in the labor market. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped by 5,000 to a seasonally adjusted 366,000, the Labor Department said on Thursday. The prior week's claims figure was revised to show 3,000 more new claims than initially reported.

This is crazy, they never revise the numbers upward!

These numbers have become so common, just like high gas prices, they are the new normal.

Complicit media. Obama can do no wrong. Now, if an R was president, they would be blasted all day every day, as a failure of massive proportions.

MSM should stand for Mainspin Media instead of Mainstream Media.

Why don't liberals on the board ever come to discuss job numbers? I mean, just imagine if there was no hot topic, like guns, going on right now. This board would be silent from the left.

Just wondering, if more and more drop out of the labor market (this has been documented) wouldn't you expect unemployment claims to drop over time? I would.
