| Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City (Posted on 2/4/13 at 8:29 am)
I bought these 2 yesterday and started playing Asylum. Does this game get better or is it just me busting about 4 bad guys up at a time and grappling around?

I've got AC: GOTY edition too. It's fun, but at times I have no idea wtf I'm suppose to be doing. Have yet to beat.

I think the graphics and scenes are legit but I just walk around, crawl through stuff, beat up bad guys and grapple around. That's it in the hour I played.

I liked both. AA I beat 100%. AC, not so much. I finished the main story line and as many of the villain side quests as I could. I think I got around 70-80% maybe? If they release another I'd buy it

Why do you say that? I had a blast playing both Arkham games. Arkham >>>>>> AC IMO

Cool your jets. It gets a ton better. Asylum is a lot more linear and confined than City, but the mood and characters are what make it for me. The Scarecrow sequences are fantastic. City is good, but I got distracted with flying around everywhere and I'd forget what I was supposed to do. It seems like they tried to cram too many villains and side stories in to it. And Carson, not liking a game =/= overrated. Sales and reviews say differently.

SUPPORT. I'm on the fence with this series, and I was hoping to see your questions answered. Too bad 4th graders are more mature than most of the posters here.

Just get the game. It doesn't cost much now. Find it used. I'll bet good money that it plays nothing like you're expecting.

Both games are great. The only thing that sucks are the challenge modes though I beat a lot of those too. New game + in Arkham City was a good challenge. Asylum was fairly easy, even on hard.

You basically do what Batman would do. You do fight large groups of bad guys, crawl around, and grapple around. You also hide in the shadows, grapple up somewhere to hide so you can drop in on bad guys unannounced, do detective type stuff. You also fight a bunch of Batman's signature bad guys. Personally, as a big Batman fan, I loved it. I guess my review would be a bit biased because I'm such a big Batman fan. Then again, maybe because I'm such a big fan I would judge it more harshly than others. Either way, I loved both games.
