PFT on Flacco, with list of top five salaries in 2013

Can you name them without clicking the link?

Flacco would make almost 15 million with the franchise tag, but if the team places the Exclusive Franchise Tag on him, he gets the average of the top five QBs. That would get him over 20 million next year. What I found interesting was which QBs will have the top five salaries next year (unless they restructure).

So, anyone care to guess which QBs are crippling their franchises with their greedy, selfish contracts?

Is Stafford making that type of money, still on his rookie deal?

I would assume so. Crazy that he makes more than Aaron Rodgers.

That doesn't mean they're a good value at those price points

Brady is probably the only one that you could justify it for IMO

Brees is the GOAT. He should be on that list.

Maybe I should link the thread where people were talking about how Flacco and Ryan want "Drew Brees" money.

Apparently, Drew Brees isn't making top five money next year...

fwiw, the numbers in the article don't reflect the "highest paid" QBs next year

with the roller coaster that is an elite NFL contract, c'mon...stop trolling. if brees's cap hit isn't top 5 in 2013 he either got paid a metric frick ton in salary/roster bonus this year or we're going to have a "come to jesus" scenario in a couple years

Brees, like these other guys, will likely restructure. My point is that all of the nonsense from that other thread is just that: nonsense.

They are allowed to make as much they want. I have no problem with a player/agent trying to maximize their income.

While Brees will not have a top 5 contract in 2013, who will make in 2014? 2015? Highest bonus?

Lions really got screwed picking Stafford right before the lockout and restructuring. I think Sam fricking Bradford makes a shite ton too.
