You may use 1st team bench players. Do not use "future" players on your roster. Try to keep things current.

Forwards: Agudelo, Johnson, Buddle

Mids: Feilhaber, Beckerman, Danny Williams, Edu, Bedoya, Corona, Diskerund,Clark

Defenders: Goodson, Lichaj, Castillo, Chandler, Gonzalez, Besler

Goalkeepers: Brad Guzan, Nick Rimando

I don't know yet. It depends in Cherundolo's form.

Danny Williams has already started over Jermaine Jones, so I'd call him a first teamer at this point. Chandler is probably considered a second team player if Cherundolo is healthy.

I really hope, at this point, that Danny Williams isn't on the first team. I think he is incredibly inconsistent. Jones may be a little better technically and he does have the experience. However, he is a hot head. Even with the experience.

At one point do you move Cherundolo to the bench and start a Chandler(if committed)/Lichaj ?

or when do you remove Bocanegra for a Gonzalez ? It's a pretty big grey area. IMO. Gonzalez is very talented, but not experienced. Boca's talent is starting to trump his experience.

It'll be interesting.

Don't take this negatively, but what is the point of this? When clicking the topic I was expecting this to be potential gold cup rosters. There's a few spots in the 1st team that can be argued so you could get rid of the gray area by saying you cannot use bench players.

Oh and I would through George John and Zach Loyd in the mix for defenders #FCD.

Do we see StuBear get a gold cup call up to work him back into international play?

Can someone tell me why Kyle Beckerman is still being called up or even mentioned with USMNT. Just because you can run Real Salt Lake doesnt mean you can do well at the International level. Getting an assist will take a lot more work. Also, he will be 32 at WC2014(Hercules Gomez can do it though). There are way better options I dont hate the MLS but players like Wondolowski need to show us what he is made of at the International level

Some people have mentioned that Beckerman will be Captain of the Gold Cup team this year. Also, he's a defensive midfielder so he's picked more for disrupting the other team that creating assist for US.

I would prefer to never see him on the first team, but am perfectly fine with him being on the 2nd team.
