not sure he's going it based on expectation, though. i think they are just flat out grading performance. so it's pretty cool that the Hornets are at a C-...just as good of a grade as some teams who have better records than the hornets

I don't like the fact that he penalized Monty for the defense regressing every year when the roster has gotten worse every year. I also don't understand how he can say that Davis hasn't risen to expectations. He's gone above them for me and most Hornets fans.

typical national media not knowing much about the hornets. not too worried about it...i think he got the overall grace about right...if anything, it's better than i expected

Agreed. The Hornets are actually better than some people thought they would be. They're in year 2 of a total overhaul and just got their full squad together.
The Lakers were supposed to sail to the WCF vs. OKC, now they're fighting to even get the 8th seed. They've been a total failure. I do think they'll eventually be a 7th or 8th seed and get smoked by OKC if they meet them in the 1st round.

san antonio gets a B+.
Once I saw that along with the hornet's F in defense and C- overall I just called bull shite.
SA who is probably the most consistent team in the league right now. Even without some starters playing every night they are extremely competitive against any opponent (Miami game for example).
