Who else will be in attendance? Been looking forward to this one for a while.

I hope there's a decent crowd because the place was rocking for dumpstaphunk last Friday

I'm thinking that the Lost Bayou Rambler's at M&W is where it's at that night in BR...

I went to M&W last week and wasn't to much of a fan. The bands are a toss up for me, though. Definitely upsetting they're on the same night.

those dudes are legit imo, but i love hill country blues and they carry the torch for mississippi fred mcdowell and rl burnside. plus cody and luther are practically bruthas.

I dont doubt they're talented and they get a nod because of their dad...

But typically, I tend to only like the blues when its kinda turned inside out... bands like Grifters and Come...

i like the fact that they are upholding a dying genre of music. and like i said, luther is one of the best slide guitarists alive right now. i'd go see him play in ANY band.

NMAS put a great show on no doubt.

I got to hang out with Luther and Cody on their bus a couple years back during a mardi gras show. Super cool guys. They are very good live.

That said, I'd take lost bayou ramblers over them.

NMAS > Lost Bayou Ramblers and it's not even a competition.

Don't forget Brother Dege is also on the bill with the LBR. A solid double bill.

It's a hard match up for me. I had a blast at their BR show opening up for the givers. But nmas put on an insane show

Is there a local band on either of these shows?

Brother Dege is the man.

Would love to see him and Scott Biram again together but I don't know if that would happen
