New Orleans, San Diego, or Miami. Poll question on ESPN home page.

I did Miami when the Saints when. Witnessed two SBs here in NOLA.
New Orleans by far out of those two.

New Orleans
stadium downtown, tons of hotel space downtown, tourist stuff downtown, generally good weather in January and a police force that can handle big crowds.
Pretty much all sportswriters and other who attend on a regular basis say NOLA is the best.
Stadiums being out in the middle of nowhere hurts Miami and San Diego.

If Miami had built a stadium at the site of the Orange Bowl, then it'd probably be better than New Orleans, but having a stadium an hour away from downtown seems silly for a Super Bowl.

naw, because that site is surrounded by a cesspool of Cubans.

well, they aren't going to build a stadium on South Beach so I was trying to be practical

New Orleans. For convenience of being able to walk everywhere.

Pasadena
I don't know why the NFL has gone back there? 5 Super Bowls and yet nothing the last 20 years.

Probably New Orleans or Miami. I wish they would bring the Super Bowl back to Los Angeles though. The Rose Bowl is an awesome venue for big football games.

There's an NFL rule stating you have to have an NFL team in order for a city to host a Superbowl

The NFL makes the rules...so, the question...'why they haven't gone back there' is a question...why they think it's important to so stipulate if they in fact what a team in L.A.?
They can make/unmake whatever rules they want.

owners of teams who want a Super Bowl in their city would be pissed.

Went to the SB in Miami. It would be miami by a long shot if not for having to go out to ft lauderdale for the game. New Orleans edges it out IMO

+1. If any city was allowed to host a Super Bowl, cities like Las Vegas, Orlando and San Antonio would have hosted Super Bowls instead of Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Detroit.

Take that back. It's miami. It's just so perfect for the SB

Moscow, ID (or Russia for that matter) should be higher on the list than Detroit.

Miami has certainly hosted more memorable Super Bowls than New Orleans. Miami has been the host to games such as Super Bowl XXIII between the Bengals and 49ers, the two SB clashes between the Steelers and Cowboys in the '70s, the Colts/Cowboys SB that was won on a last second field goal and of course, Super Bowl III. All New Orleans has is the Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams. All of their other Super Bowls were either snoozers or complete blowouts.
