I watched a few minutes of it the other night and even though I had no idea why Archer was at a pool arguing with a black chick that apparently knows him, I laughed anyway. I DVR'd immediately. Where has Archer been all my life?

Reruns are always on and you don't have to watch them in order. Show is brilliant.

Start from the beginning. Archer's humor is like Arrested Development. There are ongoing plots and many jokes you'll only get if you keep watching it . It's joke, built on joke, built on joke.

i didn't start watching till this past summer and now i'm caught up. recommend watching in order though. there are some running jokes.

First two seasons on Netflix so no
I watched it like 2 weeks ago. I liked it thought it was funny but its not my favorite show. Worth watching though

The two-part cancer episode from Season 2 is hands down, the BEST thing ever put on television.

It really is one of the best written shows ever. A shame it doesn't get a bigger following.
season 1& 2 are on Netflix.

They do pretty well with guest actors. What are our chance at getting Mr. Loggins for an episode. Maybe an episode set on an aircraft carrier.

Yeah they are better to watch in order but not at all necessary if he just wants to catch reruns.

You couldn't be more wrong. Just in the episode he mentioned, you'd have to know:
- who the blonde guy in space was ordering the hit by the KGB
- Why Ray is in a wheelchair
- Why Cyril sucks as an agent
- What's the joke about Carol being rich
- And most importantly, the 3 seasons prior that cover his Oedipus complex.
Not saying you can't enjoy an episode without watching all 3 seasons, but there's so many running jokes, it would make it much better.
