Lots of good jumps and busts happening right now. Really wish I could do this on the slopes.

I find it truly amazing that 5 years ago I would have considered the X-Games nothing more than a punk/hipster/bullshite version of the Olympics, and now it occurs to me there is actually a huge component of athletic prowess needed to do this stuff.

The speed these guys get on the 75 foot ramp is incredible. Potentially dangerous and moderately athletic

I wonder how hard it is to get tickets to see this event and get in some boarding while in aspen. Sounds like a great trip. Add in some snow bunnies and your good to go.

I mean it is essentially this, but that's not to say what they are doing isn't extremely athletic, because it is.

I'm impressed.

Everyone I know goes. I'm in Cali right now or I would be there. My SO and daughter have gotten on national TV multiple times the past 2 years. It's very easy to get in there.

Never been to Aspen. Been to a few other places (Telluride, Copper Mtn, Durango/Purgatory, Taos), and would love to see the Utah slopes, but I've always gotten that feeling that Aspen has that "Ivy League" feel to it. If I don't have that accent, I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb.
