Are you looking for restaurants with drink specials?
Seems like it. There aren't that many; that's more of a downtown after work happy hour type thing.

Brother's Three has $2 High Life 24/7. I think they also have Rolling Rock for $1.50
TJ Quills used to have $2 everything on Saturday, but I don't know if they still do that. I haven't been there in years.

most bars uptown are cheap enough to not to have many standout drink specials in my experiences

True enough. But even so, the 'Vous, Traceys and others have good happy hours. Uptown is a treasure trove for alcoholics.

Not Uptown, but close (eh).

At first this made me laugh, then I though maybe I should go to one of those meetings.
