Yeah, something like that. Man, this is gonna get weird. I honestly don't know a whole lot about the 3-4. It's gonna take some getting use to.

It's interesting that the Saints O has typically struggled more against 3-4 defenses than other defenses. I wonder if this impacted SP's thinking, as in, if you can't beat them, join them.

Damn I'm surprised at this. So basically Payton went after Spags for his DC position and then soon after wasn't able to have anything to do with the team. He comes back and 2 days later canned Spags. Its pretty surprising given that he hired him, he doesn't want to work with him. Maybe Payton saw something coaching/scheme wise that he didn't want anymore.

we have most of the pieces that fit 3-4....but the big question is teaching the techniques....
we are missing the biggest piece though, a nose tackle.
Will Smith/Jordan/Hicks are pretty much ideal ends. Though i would assume Hicks would have to play nose to start.
Gallette and Wilson would prob play the same spot on the outside. Then have the other 3 (Vilma, Lofton, Hawthorne)
